Is it me or is any one else feel like they pay a lot more for crap these days than ever before? I get fed all these promises of how that product will do this and this product do that. Only to buy into the bullshit and be disappointed over and over again.

Okay. I’ve been studying and following the trend of men in the workforce for quite a while. I’m also fascinated with the history of work and occupation. So, in loo of the recent downturn in the economy, and the rise in unemployment I’ve decided to channel and share my thoughts here.

 People who smoke are nasty.

Don’t get me wrong, I like dogs. I even owned a couple at one time. However, things have gotten ridiculous with peoples obsessions over their furry friends (even not so furry hairless dogs). I never once picked up dog shit from outside. Off the carpet, yes, but not the grass. Which I believe is sign of how absurd the culture has gotten. I think about what my grandfather, an old Tuscarora Indian, would have said about this relatively new phenomena of Pet Poop Patrolling. He had dogs. He wouldn’t let them in the house much less walk behind with a plastic bag waiting to wrap his hands around a warm fresh load. Now a days people go in debt to buy an expensive personalized collar or dress their dog like Master Yoda for halloween ( http://bit.ly/pRSk03 ). Now I understand that dog shit is un-kuth in public places where people walk and it can rinse into the water system. But if this is the only place you have for your dog to shit, consider moving to a place with a back yard or trading spot in for some fish or a bird.

I may see the world from a different perspective. I’m not always right. However, I do try to frame what I see with a good set of ever growing guiding principles based on the teachings of Christ. I’m not perfect, but I have to do something to effect the greater good.
